P005 → Mask
duration: 4 weeks
Product intention: Create a mass producable paper mask that can be assembled with simple instructions and a die cut sheet.
Inital form exploration. Studied the most eye catching elements of the isopod.
First round of mask iterations, ran into issues with its rigidity, face shape and wearability.
Second round of iterations. Focused on the shell segmentation to provide rigidity and a more realistic look.
Mock ups for mask building instructions, graphical elements, and cut sheet for the die cutter.
Peer mask assembly and final product.
